Heavy Equipment Needs Heavy Duty Experience
Foley’s Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate Program through WSU Tech is a 12-month year-round program that provides classroom and lab instruction with paid hands-on training. It gives you the experience and knowledge to work on heavy equipment with proficiency and confidence.
Program Benefits
The Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate Program Includes:
- Paid, hands-on training throughout the program
- Work experience at your local Foley location 3 days/week as a paid intern
- Attend classes at WSU Tech’s Wichita Campus 2 days/week
- Paid travel expenses to and from school for interns working at a Foley location outside of Wichita or Park City
- Scholarship/tuition reimbursement (up to $5,000/year)
- $14,000 worth of tools*
- Full-time Technician position at your Local Foley location after school program completion and Foley Capstone Internship.
- Eligible for the Kansas Promise Act Scholarship
*After graduation from the ThinkBIG program, you must complete 2 years of full-time employment with Foley in order to own the tools and toolbox.

Accept the offer and complete all pre-employment screenings including a drug screen (yes we test for marijuana, regardless of residential state or medical card status), background check, and other relevant screenings for your role.
