ANN KONECNY: Our first facility, in 1940, is actually where Century II stands today. And we’ve expanded, over 77 years, to have multiple facilities throughout the states of Kansas and now Missouri. The future is going to hold a tremendous amount of change. Technology is growing exponentially. We’ve already invested heavily in this, with machine controlling guidance, with condition monitoring, and we will continue to grow in technology. What won’t change– our dedication to serving our customer.

DAVID SHERWOOD: Our relationship with Foley Tractor has gone back actually longer than I’ve been alive. It started in the ’50s and ’60s, with Howard and Skip forging a business relationship through the years. As our companies have grown, Ann’s moved into her company and I’ve moved into mine. We’ve developed that same trusting relationship. I feel like, from my perspective, our relationship has gone from a business relationship to a true friendship, and people I can always call on when I need to talk to somebody or have a question about anything. Ann and Foley Tractor has always been there for us.

MARTY CORNEJO: Foley companies and Foley family has been very involved in the community, both with organizations and charities. Back from the ’40s, when they started business, they were involved, obviously, with Boy Scouts, back with Skip, the Neumann University, Wichita State, and that’s to name a few. It goes on and on, the involvement that the Foley family and Foley company has had in our community, and the people and other businesses that they’ve touched.

SPEAKER: Foley equipment is more than just a member of the Kansas business community. It also has a presence in the community as a whole.

TARCISIA ROTHS: Sister Sylvia saw the need to take some deliberate steps to grow the college into more than just a small Catholic college for women, but into what today has become Neumann University. She reached out to businessmen in the community, primarily Catholic businessmen , who would also share her mission for Catholic higher education. And of these men, Paul Foley was a leader. They began to meet with her and help her obtain the funds she needed to expand the physical facilities of the University.

SPEAKER: From its birth, as a single store in Wichita in 1940, to its current footprint, spanning two states and 144 counties, Foley Equipment Company is a leader, an innovator, and most importantly, a family-based company that values its employees and customers.

ANN KONECNY: We’re excited about the future and we’re excited about the facility that we’re building here, our headquarters on West Street.
