Our Management Trainee Program Includes:

WHAT’S THE PURPOSE OF THE MANAGEMENT TRAINEE ROLE?

Provide emerging leaders with the opportunity to:

  • Gain exposure to multiple departments through training, projects, and responsibilities that are vital to Foley’s success.
  • Receive managerial/leadership skills training at regular intervals
  • Present “fresh eyes” on projects and responses to leaders after each rotation
  • Experience meaningful opportunities to connect with employees and customers

HOW WILL TRAINING BE ORGANIZED?

You commit to 12 months as a Management Trainee. The job includes general leadership training as well as eight-week rotations in these departments:

  • Rental Sales and Operations
  • Sales and Quote Preparation
  • Parts Warehouse Management and Counter Sales
  • Service Leadership and Operations
  • Support Services (Safety, Marketing, Accounting/Finance, Training, Recruiting)

While a leadership role isn’t guaranteed at the end of 12 months, that’s our desired outcome.  

 

WHAT SUPPORT WOULD I RECEIVE?

If you’re hired, you’ll receive one-on-one coaching regularly throughout the year to ensure you’re:

  • Progressing in knowledge and understanding of system/department functions
  • Demonstrating behavior that reflects our mission,  and that you’re able to develop others in demonstrating those values
  • Continuing in your personal and professional development
  • Identifying and recommending improvements, asking helpful questions, etc.

WHAT WILL COMPENSATION BE FOR THE POSITION?

Compensation will be discussed on an individual basis with each applicant, based on experience and other factors.
